Week 4 Preview

Week 4 will see the reunions of Jason Kelce with Travus Kelce and the Philadelphia Eagles with Andy Reid , as the Chiefs travel from Kansas City to Pholadelphia to take on the Eagles.

We all know the game the Eagles are coming off of. The Chiefs have had their fair share of struggles this season as well. After barely pulling off a win against the Cleveland Browns in Week 1, KC has dropped two in a row. First to the Baltimore Ravens and then division rival LA Chargers.

These losses have a lot of people questioning the team after back to back Super Bowl appearances. I expect the Chiefs to use Sunday as a statement game, unfortunately at the expense of the Eagles.

This matchup is similar to the previous, in that the Chiefs have the ability to score a lot of points, ranking 5th in the league with 30.7 ppg. To average that amount of points per game and find yourself sitting at 1-2 suggests that the Chiefs defense may be their weak spot, although they have faced some good offenses thus far.

Since I think the Eagles matchup against the Chiefs similarly to how they did against the Cowboys, my key to the game is the same heading into Week 4: keep the ball away from the opposing offense. Hopefully the results of Monday night will encourage HC Nick Sirianni to move in the direction of running the ball and trying to win the time of possession.

This is the first of a slate of challenging games for the birds. In the end, I do not trust their ability to fix their mistakes on a short week. I think the Eagles lose 35-20.
